      By beating Mexico in a bestof-three game series last week, the United States Field Hockey team has earned a chance to compete in the 2007 Pan American Games this July in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The tournament is a qualifier for the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, China.

      It's a new season, but the results haven't changed for the Westlake High boys' volleyball team. Marmonte League champions in 2006, the Warriors are off to a fast start once again. Before last night's matchup vs. Agoura, WHS had a record of 8-1 overall and was 3-0 in league play.
