Agoura jazz bands head for New York

Agoura High School's "Essentially Ellington" and "A" jazz bands, under the direction of John Mosley and Chad Bloom, were selected as two out of 15 national finalists in the 2007 Essentially Ellington High School Jazz Competition at the Lincoln Center in New York.

This will be the third consecutive trip to New York as finalists for Agoura High's jazz students, and it is the first time in the 12year history of the competition that two groups from the same school have been chosen.
