Visit Sunny Skies Camp

Since 1974 Sunny Skies has provided traditional outdoor summer day camp experiences for boys and girls ages 4 to 14. Sunny Skies is at 3190 Triunfo Canyon Road in Agoura Hills, on a 23-acre ranch.

Parents who are interested in learning more about Sunny Skies may attend an open house on Sun., March 18 or April 22 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. At the open house, parents and children may meet the camp directors and staff and tour the facility.

Camp sessions run from June 25 through Aug. 24. Space is available but camp groups fill quickly and total enrollment is limited. Two, three, four and fivedaya-week combinations are available for campers.

The staff offers a safe program of swimming, canoeing, nature, crafts, animal care, fishing, archery, horseback riding, team sports, special theme days, sleepouts and more.

Sunny Skies is known for its small camp groups that facilitate maximum supervision and personal relationships between counselors and campers. The camp is accredited by the American Camp Association.

Harold Gordon, Sunny Skies' senior director, said, "We are known for our caring staff that provide a supportive environment which allows children to grow through fun and learn through experience."

Camp director Jeff Salzman came to Sunny Skies 13 summers ago, and co-director Ryan Rosen begins his second summer at Sunny Skies after many years on the team at Camp Kinneret.

Sunny Skies provides safe and convenient transportation. Professional school bus drivers drive the air-conditioned, seat belt-equipped school buses. Camp counselors ride aboard each bus to lead songs and play games en route to camp.
