Phil and Nancy Schoefling

Phil and Nancy Schoefling of Newbury Park were the winners of Coldwell Banker Distinctive Properties' Valentine's Day Giveaway. The couple won a free dinner for two at Eric's Restaurant and Bar in Newbury Park.

The giveaway was sponsored by Newbury Park real estate agents Robert Fluery, Terri Mallord, Nia Mansell and Eva Reid to thank the local community for supporting the newest branch office of Coldwell Banker Distinctive Properties.

"Our Simi Valley office has been serving Conejo Valley's real estate needs for many years now and has earned a wonderful reputation. When our doors opened in Newbury Park not long ago, we were welcomed with open arms. Coldwell Banker is doing very well in Newbury Park, and we wanted to thank everyone that has made us so successful," said Mallord.

The Schoeflings are prior clients of Mallord. "She helped us buy our home years ago and did a fantastic job. We were pretty excited when she let us know about the contest. We've heard so much about Eric's Restaurant and now we have a great reason to go."

"This definitely won't be the last giveaway we do here. It was great to see so many people sign up for the contest and come in for free boxes of chocolate on Valentine's Day," said Mansell.

"We are going to be doing other things, too, for the community," said Reid. "We have some free homeownership and real estate investment seminars coming up that we think our neighbors here in Newbury Park will really enjoy."

Coldwell Banker Distinctive Properties is at 1620 Newbury Road, next to the Newbury Park Post Office.
