Twelve new single-story homes are a few weeks away from completion. The developer worked with the city of Camarillo to have the unincorporated parcels in the Heights of Camarillo annexed to the city. H.M. West Builders report that the lack of rainy weather aided the construction process, and the first homeowners should be moving in by the end of April.

The final stages are taking place- granite is being cut, rain gutters are going up and sidewalks are being poured this week. The block walls are in, and the driveways are next.

There are four floor plans from which to choose. Eight of the 12 homes are still available and are listed for sale with Barbara Hatch, a local Realtor with Coldwell Banker Residential in Camarillo. Buyers will be credited a $10,000 carpet allowance toward their choice of flooring. Options available prior to completion are choice of paint colors, concrete patios, walkways, RV pads and security systems.

All the homes have RV access, landscaped front yards, architectural design with stone accents, two- or threecar garages and concrete tile roofs. The homes are located on a wide culdesac street. They range in size from 2,361 square feet to 2,427 square feet with three to four bedrooms. Features include 10foothigh ceilings, eight-foot interior doors, recessed lighting, ceiling fans and an intercom system. The kitchens are high efficiency, with granite countertops, Beachwood cabinetry, GE Profile stainless steel appliances and Moen fixtures. The indoor laundry has a deep sink, and each home has air conditioning.
