JOE WOODS/Acorn Newspapers MAKING MIRACLES- Event organizer Daren Leverenz takes 4-year-old Max Warren of Agoura Hills for a skate around the Easy Street ice arena in Simi Valley before the start of the hockey game at the Miracle for Max fundraiser last week. The game raised money for Max, who has autism, and his mother, Christina, who is battling liver cancer.
