Huntington Learning centers receive official accreditation
Centers are first local supplementary educators to receive this honor

LEARNING CURVE- From left, Jim Holmes, Todd Sain, Taryn Weitzman, Eileen and Ray Huntington and Mike Kent celebrate the Huntington Learning Center's recent accreditation.
Huntington Learning Centers in Woodland Hills and Westlake Village have received official accreditation status from the Commission on International and TransRegional Accreditation. The centers have also been awarded accreditation by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges.

The Huntington centers are the first supplementary education providers in the area to receive this honor.

The commission establishes national protocols and standards for schools, postsecondary institutions and supplementary education providers, which cover curriculum, instruction, programming, staffing and documented student improvement.

Huntington's goals are to help students improve grades, raise test scores and develop effective study skills by individually diagnosing student performance and offering instructional programs directly tailored to each student's needs.

Huntington Learning Center has more than 300 locations nationwide and in 2007 will celebrate 30 years of providing tutoring and supplemental education.
