Oak Park bands battle

Oak Park High School's second annual Battle of the Bands takes place tomorrow, Fri., March 2 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the OPHS Pavilion.

The six bands, "Something Non-Existent," "Hydro Hot and the Hybrid Buffalos," "My High Society," "Allison," "Spencer" and "Lingus," will compete for gift certificates and monetary prizes.

Judges this year include Brandon Heinzelmann and John Vanselow, store manager of Thousand Oaks' Instrumental Music.

Tickets are $7 at the door.
