One developer speaks out

I am a developer who works and resides in the city of Calabasas. I am extremely resentful that Toby Keeler has chosen to hinge his campaign strategy on vilifying me and my colleagues.

Every development goes through a process; the end result is always a compromise between owner and neighbors. It is never one-sided. I know this, because Toby voted to approve the very projects he is attacking.

But that is not what prompts my ire. What incensed me is that when Toby raises money for his projects he comes to me, the horrible, untouchable developer.

I have been contacted on numerous occasions by Toby himself, for his "Spotlight on the Arts" project. Toby gleefully accepted my thousands and thousands of dollars without a single negative reference to my chosen profession.

Politics is always inhabited by duplicitous or hypocritical people. It's a special day when a candidate fits both those suits.
