Special ed children can be taught social skills

The meeting of the Special Education Advisory Committee will include a presentation on "Making Friends: Strategies for Social Situations" 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Mon., March 12 at Oak Park Library, 899 N. Kanan Road.

The presentation will feature tips for helping children with severe disabilities to make friends and interact with peers.
