Volleyball league gearing up

The United States Youth Volleyball League is accepting online registrations for the spring 2007 season.

The eightweek league begins in April. Games are played at Wildflower Playfields in Thousand Oaks, Deerhill Park in Oak Park and Walnut Elementary School in Newbury Park.

The league is coed, for ages 8 to 14. Players are grouped into three age divisions. The focus is on learning the fundamentals of the sport. Prior experience is not required.

Registration fee includes a volleyball, uniform T-shirt and medal. Register at www.usyvl.org.
