McScholarships available

Applications for four Ronald McDonald House Charities scholarships are open to high school seniors who have demonstrated academic excellence, strong leadership skills and a commitment to the community.

The programs are for African American Future Achievers, Asian Pacific American Students Increasing Achievement, Hispanic American Commitment to Educational Resources and Scholars of Tomorrow.

The $2,000 college scholarships may be applied toward tuition, fees and room and board.

Application deadline is Fri., March 16. The forms are available through high school counselor offices and career centers.
