World Day of Prayer is March 2

The Conejo Unit of Church Women United will celebrate World Day of Prayer on March 2 at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 1 Avenida de Los Arboles, Thousand Oaks. Coffee fellowship is at 10 a.m. with the service at 10:30 a.m.

Esther Biersma will lead the singing accompanied by Aina Abrahamson.

The theme is "United Under God's Tent," described as "a call to work and to pray together for people in need all over the world."

The offering will support the work of World Day of Prayer and will help meet the needs of families in regions of turmoil worldwide.
