Local football players make college choices official

JANN HENDRY/Acorn Newspapers CLASSY LOOKING GROUP- Wednesday was the first day football recruits could sign NCAA national letters of intent. A ceremony featuring area players was held at Clarion Palms Hotel in Newbury Park. Pictured from the left are Oaks Christian standouts Justin Lanseadel (Air Force), Michael Ebbitt (Texas A&M), Casey Matthews (Oregon), Anthony Gildon (Oregon), Tommy Grillo (UC Davis), Cory Yriarte (Boise State), Duke Lemmens (Florida), Sean Wiser (Stanford), Marshall Jones (USC) and Marc Tyler (USC). Other local players who signed but are not pictured include Westlake's Ryan Campbell (Air Force) and Tyrone Duncan (Washington), and Oak Park's Logan Ketchum (San Diego State).
