Jazz bands to perform

The Calabasas High School jazz bands will perform their second concert of the year Thurs., Feb. 15.

The bands are directed by Josh Barroll and Aaron Kohen.

The Calabasas jazz bands have received several awards and honors, including recognition at the Essentially Ellington competition at New York's Lincoln Center and several local venues.

Lori Weiss, a member of the Calabasas Music Boosters, said the school's music department is "committed to performances aimed at entertaining and inspiring music lovers of all generations."

Tickets are $6 for adults and $5 for students with Associated Student Body cards. The concert will be held at 7 p.m. in the school's auditorium, 22855 W. Mulholland Hwy., Calabasas.
