Candidate will fight for scenic corridor

A municipal election is approaching in Calabasas and as you look at the candidates I encourage you also to look around at, for example, the Las Virgenes Corridor and the gateway to the Santa Monica Mountains Recreation Area, which now, thanks to the incumbent City Council, looks more like a gateway into an overdeveloped theme park.

Or, while you are stalled in the traffic on the 101 due to all the overdevelopment, look at the 101 scenic corridor with its auto mall aesthetic or at the hillsides and ridgelines covered with clearly visible houses that we are not supposed to see.

Or look at the projects to come, the high-density complexes already in the works or the disruption of originally well-planned neighborhoods by approved mansionization, and ask yourself whether you want to give the incumbents a chance to continue cluttering up our city in this way.

If you do not like what you see, I encourage you to vote for Toby Keeler for Calabasas City Council. Toby doesn't talk the talk of environmental preservation for Calabasas as anyone can do. He walks the walk as well. Please vote Keeler for Calabasas City Council.
