Prayer brunch

Magnificat, a ministry to Catholic women, will host a prayer brunch from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thurs., Feb. 22 at the Porter Valley Country Club, Porter Valley Drive, Northridge.

The guest speaker is Richard Najera. According to event organizers, Najera will "share his dynamic story of healing and a changed life after receiving a vision of the Blessed Mother at Medjugorie."

The cost is $17, and reservations are due by Thurs., Feb. 8.
