New classes announced at Conejo Jewish Academy
Winter semester is already underway

The Conejo Jewish Academy will offer the following winter semester classes to all adults. No affiliation or membership is necessary.

All programs will be at the academy, 30345 Canwood St., Agoura Hills.

"The Kabbalah of Character," led by Rabbi Yisroel Levine, begins at 8 p.m. Feb. 6. This is an eight-part series with practical tools for gaining insight into one's character and charting a path to personal growth. Fee: $65.

"Toward a Meaningful Life" is a four-part course on leading a more productive and fulfilling life based on Judaism and the teaching of the Lubavitcher Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem M. Schneerson. The class meets Wednesdays at 8 p.m. starting Jan. 31. Fee: $18.

"Beyond a Reasonable Doubt" is a five-week series examining some of the evidence of the absolute truths of Judaic beliefs. Meets at 8 p.m. Thursdays starting Feb. 8. The instructor is Rabbi Shlomo Bistrizky, and there is an $18 fee.

"The Talmud: the Laboratory of Jewish Law" is a sixpart series, gateway into the world of Talmud. Rabbi Yitzchak Sapochkinsky is the teacher. Meets 8 p.m. Thursdays. Fee: $25.

Study groups will be offered in Hebrew, prayer, Kabbalah, mystical teachings, advanced learning, women's Bible study groups and holiday workshops.
