Disaster Response Team requesting emergency supplies

The Agoura Hills Disaster Response Team gives critical support to families and the community following a disaster when emergency services may not be available.

The team is a volunteer organization whose members are trained in work that is vital in the immediate aftermath of a disaster situation that may overwhelm conventional emergency services.

Team members will be accepting donations of basic supplies such as crutches, canes, walkers, folding wheelchairs, sheets and blankets, new or used, all in good condition.

Residents may bring these supplies to the parking area between Bank of America and Baskin Robbins on the Vons mall from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Sat., Feb. 3.
