Inphi announces major hiring

Citing strong growth and increasing demand for its highperformance components, Westlake Village-based Inphi Corporation has announced plans to hire more than 30 engineering, marketing, sales and administrative employees during 2007.

Inphi designs and manufactures devices for consumer electronics, communications and computing platforms.

"As Inphi continues to experience robust, year-on-year growth, the need to expand and strengthen our infrastructure becomes a critical success factor," said Paul Washkewicz, Inphi vice president for marketing and sales.

The hiring would mean a 60 percent increase in the company's work force.

Inphi, a privately held company, was founded in November 2000.

California Women Business Owners to meet

California Women Business Owners will host their monthly meeting at 5:45 p.m. Mon., Feb. 12 at Maggiano's Little Italy, 6100 Topanga Canyon Blvd., Woodland Hills.

New office for psychologist

Sherry Gaba, a licensed psychotherapist, is adding an office in Agoura Hills. Gaba, who's currently based in Calabasas, will be sharing office space with the Teen Scene Outpatient Program.

The new Agoura location will be the site Gaba's women's recovery group meetings, among other services.

Gaba brings more than 10 years experience working in the field of addictions, eating disorders, single/coparenting, divorce, and grief and loss issues. She works with adults, adolescents and families.
