Saturday nights are all right

What were you doing Saturday night? Russ and Julie Paris hosted a remarkable 10th anniversary house concert in Oak Park with some of the most talented musicians performing today. Each musician was kind enough to perform for free and the $20 admission price went directly to the Oak Park Performing Arts Alliance to support the band program at Oak Park High.

Severin Browne, James Coberly Smith, James Lee Stanley, Wendy Waldman and Penny Nichols were some of the talent that performed brilliantly. We are so lucky to have this caliber of music performed near our homes. One guest came in from Sweden. I only had to drive two miles.

If you have never been to their home and love live music in an intimate, warm atmosphere, you really need to check out their website for future events.
