Astronomical Society looks at Triton The Ventura County Astronomical Society will host guest speaker Dr. Gary Peterson, geology professor at San Diego State University, at the monthly meeting at 7:30 p.m. Fri., Feb. 16 in the multipurpose room at Mesa Union School, 3901 Mesa School Road, Somis. Peterson, an independent planetologist, will discuss Triton, a large satellite orbiting Neptune. There is no charge to attend.
