Middle schoolers rock for Dreams foundation

MUSIC MAKES A DIFFERENCE- Danny McClintick, Joel Manduke and Alex Tuchman of the band Corner Pocket prepare for their benefit concert slated for Feb. 4 at Lupin Hill Elementary School. The band is raising money for Max of a Million Dreams, a foundation formed in memory of Max Buelow, a fellow student who succumbed to cancer last spring.
Corner Pocket, a band formed by three Lindero Canyon Middle School seventhgraders, will give a benefit concert for Max of A Million Dreams Foundation at noon Sun., Feb. 4 in Hees Hall at Lupin Hill Elementary School, 26210 Adamor Road, Calabasas.

Band members Danny McClintick, Joel Manduke and Alex Tuchman will perform songs by various bands including Green Day, Red Hot Chili Peppers, the White Stripes and the Beatles.

Doors open at 11:30 a.m. Tickets, available at the door, are $10 and include food. Ticket sales will be donated to the foundation on behalf of Joel and Alex's mitzvah projects.

The foundation was established by Tracey and David Buelow in memory of their son Max, who lost his battle with Ewing's Sarcoma last March.
