Peace Officers Association presents benefit show

The Peace Officers Association of Ventura County will present their annual benefit concert at 2 p.m. Sun., Feb. 11 at the Ventura County Fairgrounds. This year's show is "Country Couples," featuring tributes to Garth Brooks, Trisha Yearwood, Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, Shania Twain and others.

The concert is a benefit for the association, which last year sponsored 35 youth and community organizations in Ventura County, sponsors the annual Medal of Valor Awards Ceremony honoring citizens and officers who have done brave deeds, and conducts an annual ceremony to honor fallen officers in the county.

The public is invited to participate by attending, sponsoring tickets for others to attend from over 65 organizations countywide, or advertising in the printed program. Individual admission is $25, $35 for two.
