Local woman to sign book

Author Cissy Wechter will sign her book "Sex & the 60s" at 7 p.m. Tues., Feb. 6 at the Calabasas Library, 23975 Park Sorrento St. There is no charge to attend.

Wechter will speak about her personal experiences and her outlook after being widowed after a long marriage.

According to event organizers, she will "with humor . . . eliminate some of the incorrect notions about senior women and give advice on dating."

For her book, she interviewed women from around the country to learn what senior women face whether divorced, widowed or single.
