Water board introduces new member

LEGACY- Jeff Smith, his wife Kathrin Dorgelo and their five children celebrate after Smith is sworn in as a director for the Las Virgenes Municipal Water District. Smith, who was appointed director of Division 5 which covers a portion of Agoura Hills, will carry on the work of his inlaws, Ann and Ben Dorgelo, who served more than three decades as district directors. Smith was appointed to the position to replace Jim Friedl, who filled in following Ann Dorgelo's death in 2005.
