CLU hosts Scandinavian presentation

California Lutheran University will host "Scandinavian/Nordic Identity in a Multicultural Environment" at 7:30 p.m. Fri., Jan. 12 in the Roth Nelson Room on the main campus.

Dr. Jose Marichal, assistant professor of political science at CLU, will discuss the issue of single cultures existing within a multicultural society, how cultural identity is affected, and whether assimilation means loss of culture or more diversity.

Admission is free. The presentation is sponsored by the American Scandinavian Foundation and the CLU political science department.
