The Agoura Hills/Calabasas Community Center offers several new classes. Most classes begin the third weekend of January.

+The Better Golf Academy meets at the Lindero Country Club. The six-week after school Junior Golf Clinic is for ages 6 to 11 (3:30 to 4:30 p.m.) and 12 to 16 (4:30 to 5:30 p.m.), and beginning Adult Clinics are for ages 18 and up (6:30 to 7:30 p.m.). Sessions meet on Mondays or Thursdays and the cost is $120. For information, call James Puglise at (818) 706-2796.

+In Rock and Roll High, youth form their own rock band, write and play songs, record a CD in a professional studio, do a band photo shoot, book a show at a local venue, promote the show and then perform live.

Grades K to 6 meet Mondays (6 to 7:30 p.m.) or Saturdays (noon to 1:30 p.m.) for eight weeks. Grades 6 to 9 meet Mondays, 7:45 to 9:15 p.m. for eight weeks. Class cost is $200.

+A Pilates mat class meets from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesdays through Feb. 28. The fee is $100.

+A new Tribal Belly Dancing session will cover belly dancing basics, American Tribal-style signals, basic movements, combos, and isolations for use in solo and group dancing. Space is limited.

Level 1 meets 11 a.m. to noon Sat., Jan. 20 to Feb. 24. Level 2 meets the same days from noon to 1 p.m. The cost is $60 per course.

+"Time to Climb" is a rock climbing class for children. Ages 5 to 7 meet from 4 to 4:50 p.m. Fri., Jan 19 to Feb. 9 or Feb. 16 to March 9. Ages 8 to 12 meet from 5 to 5:50 p.m. on the same days. Course fee is $75.
