Accessible playground earns recognition

The  publication  dubbed  Gates  Canyon  "The  Player,"  citing  the universally accessible Brandon's Village playground, shown above, as a chief highlight. The playground, which opened in 2006, features a mini-climbing wall, crawl tubes, a giant Braille clock and play equipment that can be enjoyed by children with disabilities. Gates Canyon Park is at 25801 Thousand Oaks Blvd. near Lupin Hill Elementary School.
