Silverado hires new ambassador

Janet Laird Recognizing the need for community education and awareness about the signs, symptoms and treatment of Alzheimer's disease, Silverado Senior Living of Calabasas announced the addition of Janet Laird as community ambassador.

Laird, a former Calabasas resident now residing in Malibu, has been employed with the Las Virgenes Unified School District in transition services, a division of special education.

Laird serves as executive vice president of the Malibu Chamber of Commerce and works as a freelance photographer for the Malibu Times.
