Historical Society to discuss preservation ordinance

The public is invited to a discussion about the Historical Preservation Ordinance at 7 p.m., Thurs., Nov. 15 at the Calabasas Library, 23975 Park Sorrento, Calabasas.

The Calabasas Historical Society and representatives of the city of Calabasas will be present at the event.

"The ordinance would provide guidelines for defining, identifying, inventorying and designating historical districts and sites within the city of Calabasas," said Debra Bruschaber, president of the historical society.

A city staff member will explain the ordinance. Calabasas Mayor James R. Bozajian will answer questions and discuss public participation.
