Families go all out for good Halloween scare

IS HE FOR REAL?-- A pirate mannequin, left, guards the entrance to the home of Patrick and Charlie Lowe at 921 Blackbourne Point in Oak Park. The Lowes, who have the best decorations in town according to many, put up a pirate theme this year that includes multiple operating devices such as a shooting cannon and a simulated ocean.
