Agoura

Burglars stole $450 worth of cosmetic products from the CVS/ pharmacy store on Kanan Road on Oct. 10.

Thieves stole a $40 wallet and a $300 cellphone from an unlocked vehicle parked in the 5600 block of Ruthwood Drive on Oct. 6.

Someone took a $440 mountain bike from a bike rack Oct. 5 at Agoura High School on Driver Road.

Burglars made off with a register drawer containing $1,500 in cash and took $1,500 worth of cosmetics from a salon in the 30110 block of Agoura Road on Oct. 3. They also caused $600 in damage to the front door lock of the business.

Two bicycles valued at $300 apiece were stolen from an open garage on Meadow Vista Way on Oct. 2.

While the owner was dancing, someone swiped a purse containing a cellphone, $50 in cash and a driver's license. The handbag had been left at the edge of the stage at The Canyon club on Roadside Drive in late September.

Someone reportedly tried to fraudulently use checks worth $707 Sept. 25. The checks belonged to a Chinese restaurant on Kanan Road.

Thieves stole a cellphone, two Nintendo Gameboys and a compact CD player from an unlocked vehicle parked in a driveway in the 6300 block of Aquarius Avenue on Aug. 24. The value of the loss was not declared.

Calabasas

A thief stole a briefcase containing a laptop computer and accessories, a portable gaming system and games and a pair of sunglasses, property with a total value of about $1,400, from a vehicle parked in the 4300 block of Willow Glen Street on Oct. 7.

A $50 UCLA parking access card, a checkbook and a pair of sunglasses valued at $80 were stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked in the 5600 block of Ruthwood Drive on Oct. 6.

Someone stole a purse containing credit cards, a driver's license and an MP3 player worth $270 from a vehicle parked in the 4300 block of Oakglen Street on Oct. 6. The thief later used one of the credit cards and a check card to make purchases.

Burglars stole a piece of luggage, a camera, an iPod, a Home Depot credit card and clothing with a total value of $2,300 from a vehicle parked on Liberty Bell Road on Oct. 5.

Thieves stole three laptop computers valued at $9,000 and caused $5,000 to a plate glass window at a business in the 26500 block of Agoura Road on Oct. 5.

Vandals caused $620 in damage to the tires of two vehicles parked at an apartment complex in the 5700 block of Las Virgenes Road on Oct. 5.

Someone stole an alligator skin organizer valued at $300 from the family room of a home in the 3700 block of Mulholland Highway on Oct. 5.

Plants valued at $275 were stolen from the raised median planter in the 3000 block of Kanan Road on Oct. 4.

Someone stole two computers and a monitor worth $2,000 from a business in the 5100 block of Douglas Fir Road on Oct. 3. They also caused $350 in damage to a window. Two keyboards valued at $6,000 were taken from another business in the center. Entry was gained by shattering a window.

Westlake Village

Someone stole $260 in cash from a cleaning business in the 5700 block of Lindero Canyon Road on Oct. 7.

Burglars stole a Rolex watch valued at $6,700 Sept. 28 from a bar at the Westlake Yacht Club.

Burglars stole a $200 cellphone, a $300 digital camera and three iPods valued at about $650 from a vehicle parked in the 6000 block of Lake Lindero Drive on July 27.
