Senior citizen a star at the games

WENDY PIERRO/Acorn Newspapers GO FOR THE GOLD- Fred Markle of Westlake Village displays the medals he won at the 2007 Moorpark Senior Games. The eighth biennial games ran from Sept. 12 through Oct. 11 and included competitions in softball, bowling, bingo, darts and other sports. Markle, whose favorite game is golf, won four gold, three silver and two bronze medals. Medals were presented at an awards luncheon Friday at Arroyo Vista Park in Moorpark.
