Several Oaks Christian students named AP scholars

Fifty-six students at Oaks Christian School have earned the designation of AP Scholar from the college board in recognition of their achievement on the college-level advanced placement exams.

Students took AP exams in May 2007 after completing college-level courses at their high schools. The board recognized several levels of achievement based on students' performance on AP exams.

Oaks Christian School 2007 graduate Tyler Temanson qualified for the National AP Scholar Award.

Eight students qualified for the AP Scholar with Distinction Award. They are Colby Keslar, Meredith MacGregor, Nathan Meinert, Neal Prosser, Jason Salter, Ryan Schiedermayer, Tyler Temanson and Stephen Venardi.

Fifteen students qualified for the AP Scholar with Honors Award. They are Ryan Balikian, Jason Brooks, Neil Casey, Samuel Duimovich, Eulia Garrolini, Danielle Kalil, Danielle Lindo, Kiera Lloyd, Ryan McDaniel, Ryan Milner, Andrew Petrovsky, Mackenzie Qualey, Skylar Ritchie, Leslie Small and Sean Wallace.

Thirty-two students qualified for the AP Scholar Award. Of this year's award recipients at Oaks Christian School, 20 are juniors.
