      Dr. Sheron Norling and the Mind Body Spirit Center in Westlake Village are offering holistic healing services free of charge to individuals with cancer on Oct. 19. Norling's goal is to provide a day of healing and she named Pat's Day in honor of her sisterinlaw who had breast cancer.

Oncologist to speak
      A presentation on the history and future of cancer research will be presented from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Thurs., Oct. 25 at the Wellness Community Valley/Ventura, 530 Hampshire Road, Westlake Village. Dr. Sheldon Davidson, a clinical professor at UCLA School of Medicine, will discuss new and upcoming cancer treatments and ways to control side effects.
