The Acorn climbs to new heights

I really enjoyed the article "Fundraising conquers Mont Blanc." The Acorn editor, John Loesing, is very committed to making a difference in our community. Beyond his personal climb of Mont Blanc to raise funds for prostate cancer, he, his team and The Acorn have also supported various causes including my personal cause for suicide prevention.

Each week I look forward to getting The Acorn so I can stay connected to our community and be "in the know." I wanted to acknowledge Mr. Loesing's great efforts to make a difference in our community. I do have one question though: Why no picture of The Acorn at the summit of Mont Blanc? I expected more! Mike Matthew Agoura Editor's note: Why no Acorn at the summit?
