'Thank you' to good Samaritans

I do not know your names, but I would like to sincerely thank all of you for your help today (Sept. 18) when I took a nasty fall in front of Starbucks. Don't ask me what happened, for I don't really know.

What I do know is that immediately after my fall a man came over, asking I was all right. Another man came offering his help. Both these men were doctors. They gave me a quick check and took me to a chair where a kind lady had gotten me some ice water and a bag of ice.

There were many others that came to see if I was okay. One offered me her cell, but I had my own. One offered to take me home.

Other than a bruised ego and a few hurt muscles, I am okay. I wanted to thank all of those who took the time to help me. Although I was quite upset, I tried not to cry. People seemed to understand.

It occurred to me much later in the day, when I bravely announced my mishap at work, that all of these people thought nothing of going to an aid of a person. I thank you all. Please, please, accept my good thoughts. Ann Gurian Agoura Hills
