Hadassah invites new members Hadassah's local chapter Emek Ha Ilanot will host its annual new member event from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Wed., Oct. 3 at the Gardens of the World, 2001 E. Thousand Oaks Blvd., Thousand Oaks. Appetizers and desserts will be served. The cost is $15 prepaid or $18 at the door. Prepayments are due by Fri., Sept. 28.
