Agoura

A motorist caused $500 in damages to a gas pump at a service station on Reyes Adobe Road when he drove away from the pump while the nozzle was still inside his vehicle's gas tank. The gas nozzle and hose were torn away from the pump. The incident occurred on Sept. 2.

Vandals caused $1,000 in damage to the awning and aluminum siding of a trailer parked on Blythesdale Road on Aug. 28.

Thieves stole a CD player, a car stereo and a portable DVD player from an unlocked vehicle parked on Yankee Drive on Aug. 26. The loss was $750. The culprit reportedly left a gardening tool behind on the front seat of the car.

Vandals caused $200 in damages to a vehicle parked on Whaleboat Place on Aug. 25.

The owner of a veterinary hospital on Lindero Canyon Road reported that checks and credit card receipts that were supposed to have been deposited in the bank were not credited to the business account as expected. The amount in question was $713.49. The incident occurred on Aug. 1.

Calabasas

Burglars stole $49,000 worth of construction tools Aug. 31 from two locked storage containers belonging to a business on Cold Creek Road.

A digital camera, iPod, prescription glasses and other items were stolen after they were accidentally left Sept. 2 at a restaurant on Commons Way. The items were valued at about $1,000.

Vandals caused $50 in damage Sept. 2 by spray painting a wall in the 5600 block of Medeabrook Place.

Construction equipment valued at $12,000 was stolen between Aug. 24 and 27 from a construction site on Las Virgenes Road. A similar incident involving the theft of tools valued at $1,850 occurred at the location two weeks previously.

Oak Park

Several cars were scratched in the 1000 block of Lambourne Place between midnight and 7:15 a.m. Sept. 3. In the same block, a car bumper was vandalized between 8:45 and 11:40 that morning.

An unspecified act of vandalism occurred between 10:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Sept. 3 in the 700 block of Quail View Court. The cost of the damage was estimated at less than $400; no further details were provided.

Something was stolen from a creek bed near Conifer Street and Parkview Drive between 10:15 p.m. Aug. 29 and 1:25 a.m. Aug. 30.
