Triunfo YMCA swim team is expanding

THE LIFE AQUATIC- Triunfo YMCA Otters swim team is looking for more members. The Triunfo YMCA, serving Westlake Village, Oak Park and Agoura Hills, is expanding its swim team program to a yearround schedule.

After a successful summer program, the Triunfo YMCA Otters will practice and compete in swim meets throughout the year.

Team members are between the ages of 6 and 14.

The team will practice three times a week at Westlake High School (100 North Lakeview Canyon Road).

"We have a group of dedicated swimmers who are committed to doing their best at practice and in competition," said Jenna Grossman, Triunfo YMCA swim coach.

"Typically, our season is only in the summer, but our swimmers want to continue," Grossman said.

The Triunfo Otters are looking for more kids to take part in the program. The team will be competing in swim meets against other local swim teams.
