Bowling on tap for Chamber

Keith Richman The Calabasas Chamber of Commerce has a variety of events planned for the remainder of the month.

•The second annual bowling tournament and mixer will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Fri., Aug. 17 at AMF Woodlake Lanes, 23130 Ventura Blvd., Woodland Hills.

The entry fee for a team of four is $275. A donation of $5 is requested from all non-bowlers. Proceeds will go to the Chamber's Education Committee's student scholarship and awards fund.

•A luncheon will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Thurs., Aug. 23 at the Calabasas Country Club with guest speaker Dr. Keith Richman.

Richman is a physician and healthcare industry executive who served in the state Assembly from 2000 to 2006. He will discuss the major issues in healthcare- costs, access, and quality- and the different approaches to reform.

The cost is $30 for members and $35 for nonmembers.
