Valedictorian wins scholarship
      Stephanie Green of Agoura Hills has been awarded the 200708 California Grocers Association Educational Foundation Bernard Briskin Scholarship for $5,000. Green will attend Stanford University this fall and major in human biology.

Students ready to wash cars
      Agoura High School will host a car wash from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sun., Aug. 12 in the school upper parking lot, 28545 W. Driver Ave., Agoura Hills. The prices are $5 for small cars, $7 for large cars and $3 for any vehicle with an ASB sticker. All proceeds go toward school programs.

Agoura dance team steps into winner's circle
     WINNERS- Agoura High School's competition dance team brings home several awards from the USA Dance Camp at California Lutheran University recently. Under the direction of Debi Poppen and choreographer Meredith Lee, the team won a superior award for its camp performance and was invited to perform the halftime show at the Pro Bowl in Hawaii in February. The team is hosting a master's dance workshop on Mon., Sept. 24 at Agoura High School for ages 12 and up. For information, call (818) 889-1262, ext. 350.

Student runs Agoura Hills- for a day
     TOP OFFICAL- Stephanie Lawrence, a senior at Agoura High School, performs her civic duties earlier in the summer as mayor of Agoura Hills. Stephanie toured the city's newest fire station, participated in meetings and presided over the City Council meeting in the evening. Pictured with Stephanie is Agoura Hills Mayor Dan Kuperberg. Stephanie was chosen to serve as mayor as a thank you for raising $2,600 at the Relay for Life.
