Squirrel of the Month

BACK FROM REHAB- - Barbara Syfacunda of Westlake Village submitted this shot of a furry friend who resides in her yard. ''A few months back I found three squirrels in our yard who had fallen from a tall tree, including the whole nest," Syfacunda said. "My husband and my two sons, 11 and 9, took them in and saved them." The squirrels spent time with a wildlife rehabber, who trained them for an eventual release. "The rehabber returned them to our yard and now we can enjoy them making friends in our neighborhood." All's well that ends well.
