Leather store earns award

World of Leather Furniture has announced that it was voted the No. 1 furniture store in Los Angeles after receiving the 2007 Winner Daily News Readers Choice Award.

The company is run by the third generation of furniture retailers and has been continuously in the furniture business since 1938.

World of Leather Furniture offers more than 120 styles of home furnishings in more than 200 colors of leather in various grades and colors of microfiber. The company specializes in made-to-order L-shaped or curved leather sectionals, sofas, loveseats, chairs and ottomans.

All furniture is made with hardwood frames, spring seating suspension, solid padded backs, arms, frames and 100 percent leather.

Deluxe sleeper mattress and air mattresses are available in 32 sleeper styles, as well as more than 20 motion styles and theatre seating, with optional electric open and close, available in matching leather with two-year warranty. A stain protection plan is available.

The chair gallery features more than 100 dining chairs and different kinds of stools.

The store also carries cocktail and end tables, artwork, figurine vases, covered boxes, naturallooking artificial plants, lighting and occasional furniture and desks for home or office.
