OLD IRONSIDES- Local resident Emma Loewenthal visits the USS Constitution, which despite its nickname has nearly impenetrable oak sides. Never defeated in battle, the frigate built in 1797 is the Navy's oldest commissioned ship. It's in drydock and serves as a museum in Charlestown, Mass. Rachael Loewenthal sent the photo. MARGARITAVILLE- Agoura Hills resident Gary Barker brought along the news from home to read while lounging on the beach at Playa del Carmen, Riviera Maya, Mexico. LOOK OUT FOR LAVA- Local residents James and Jack Whiteley hope the Arenal volcano behind them doesn't blow its top during their visit. The volcano in Costa Rica is still active.
