10th annual Pooch Parade and expo is July 22

Canine Adoption and Rescue League will present the 10th annual Pooch Parade fundraising dog walk and pet expo from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sun., July 22 at San Buenaventura State Park, Ventura. The parade will start at 10 a.m.

The expo includes a silent auction; doggie demonstrations of Frisbee, agility and flyball; contests including best costume, best trick and most obedient; pet supply vendors; roaming entertainment and artists; and pet adoptions.

Registration is $40. The walk is a league fundraiser to support dog rescue, rehabilitation, adoption and dog owner education programs. Walkers collect pledges to raise funds.
