Fellow drivers and members of the board of directors for Westlake Village Meals on Wheels gathered at a June 28 luncheon to honor Dorothy Rosengard for delivering meals to members of the community over the past 25 years.

Rosengard is one of the many drivers who volunteer their time and talent to deliver meals to residents of Westlake Village, Agoura Hills and Oak Park, but she is the only one who has persevered since the organization was started in 1982.

A resident of Westlake Village for 32 years, Rosengard praised her Meals on Wheels duties as the highlight of her day.

Westlake residents Kris Carraway-Bowman and Bonnie Klove founded Meals on Wheels to provide daily meals for incapacitated residents. The program has thrived through the efforts of volunteers and donors who want to serve and help others.
