Teens earn scholarship

The Southern California Cable and Telecommunications Association Charitable Foundation has awarded $1,000 college scholarships each to three local students who are interested in pursuing careers in the cable and telecommunications industry.

The recipients are Ethan Kuperberg of Agoura High School and Michelle Chen and Tiffany Russell, both of Westlake High School.

Industry professionals selected the recipients based on essays, grade point average and a willingness to make positive contributions to their communities.
