Lois Y. Fosberg, 64, passed away suddenly in her home on June 21. Lois was a long time resident of Agoura Hills, California.

She was born in Lodi, California, to the Reverend and Mrs. Louis Baumbach in 1943. In 1962, she married Sterling ("Stu") V. Fosberg. At the time of her passing, they had been married over 45 years. Together they raised three children, Troy, Tanya and Tye. In her mid-30s, Lois went to nursing school and then worked as a nurse until her retirement in March 2006.

In her spare time, Lois enjoyed baking, sewing, vegetable gardening, reading and spending time with family and friends. She will be remembered as a spirited, funloving woman, known for her gregarious nature and out-of-this world chocolate chip cookies.

She is survived by her husband, Stu Fosberg of Agoura; son and daughter-in-law, Troy and Sandee Fosberg of Woodland Hills; daughter and son-in-law, Tanya and Terry Russell, of Palmdale; son, Tye Fosberg of Venice Beach; sister, Bernice Brashear of Henderson, Nevada; brother, Keith Baumbach of Stockton, California; and six grandchildren.
